जल गंगा संवर्धन अभियान अंतर्गत जिले के ग्रामीण एवं नगरीय क्षेत्रों में नवीन जल स्त्रोतों सहित पुराने स्त्रोतों के जीर्णोद्धार का कार्य किया जा रहा है। इनमें तालाब निर्माण, जीर्णोद्धार व गहरीकरण सहित चेक डेम व स्टाप डेम, खेत तालाब, गेबियन संरचना, गली प्लग, कुआं व बावड़ी, परकोलेशन टेंक, रिचार्ज पिट, अंडरग्राउण्ड डाइक, रूफ वॉटर हार्वेस्टिंग, वृक्षारोपण इत्यादि कार्य कराए जा रहे हैं। जिले के नगरीय क्षेत्रों के 440 कार्य सहित कुल 1090 कार्य शामिल है। इनमें अजयगढ़ विकासखण्ड में 124, गुनौर में 121, पन्ना में 122, पवई में 166 और शाहनगर में 117 कार्य शामिल हैं। नवीन कार्यों की कुल लागत 148.9 लाख और जीर्णोद्धार कार्यों की लागत 2 हजार 897.35 लाख रूपए है।
